I'm not saying to combine phasing, just that it makes for nice combos (or at least it did, until they rewrote it so that it no longer triggers leaves-play abilities). Poor Wormfang Manta combo, quashed by rules changes...
But as for the banding/provoke "combo", I use bushido myself. Gets me more damage if I Fling post-combat. And I like the thought of Samurai pissing off the enemy in order to fight them. :-D
