Hmm. Examples in the past where people tryed to change others by forcing them.

The Crusades. Yep. The muslims certianly learnt something there.

Veitnam. Wow. America certianly showed them.

Nazi Germany. Do I even need to make a snide comment

Iraq. Wow.. Look how pacified they are.. how easily there accepting the fact that america knows best.

When you try to force someone to listen to you, either the listen but are resentfull, and look for an oportunity to respond, or they ignore you and go on doing what they are doing.

Perfect example here, you pushed, you got nuked.

Diplomacy > force.
