Emergency Proposal 013 - Order, Order [Other, Multiple]

1. No, After *You* [Amendment]

Reword Rule 1.3.2 (Playing Sequence) to:-

  "After a Player has taken eir Turn, it becomes the Turn of the next
   Active Player in the Token Table at the top of the GSD. If there are
   no further Active Players in the Token Table (or no Turns have yet
   been played), it becomes the Turn of the first Active Player in the
   Token Table."

{
   Comment:

   Always a bugger trying to phrase something that's completely obvious and
   intuitive, isn't it? This rewording seems to work quite neatly, though,
   and should cover everything (including the rather messy instances of
   a Player becoming Active again and submitting a Turn at the same time
   as the next Player, who thought e was still Inactive).
}

2. Form an Orderly Queue [Amendment]

In Rule 1.1.2, replace the fourth paragraph with the following two:-

   When a Game has at least three Players (including the Drone), the Order
   of Play is determined at random by the Speaker and announced to the
   list, the first Player to take eir Turn being the first active Player
   listed.

   When a new Player joins a Game already in progress, eir position in
   the Order of Play shall be determined by random selection. The Order of
   Play shall be reflected in the sequence of the Game State Document's
   Token Table, and may not be amended except by the addition of further
   new Players and the resignation of old ones.

Replace the third paragraph's "Call for Judgment" with "Emergency Proposal",
also. (Tsk.)

   Comments:

   This has been EP'd since we're on the brink of starting a new Game,
   and it can't really wait a fortnight.
