Pre-game amendments (and one such proposal)

Greetings all,

I've created a space for storing and referring to the rules of our game. There I've put up a copy of the initial rules, lifted directly from Peter Suber's Nomic pages (recommended reading, if you haven't already).

Looking at other Nomic games around the Net, I've noticed that experienced players like to start their games with a severely modified version of these initial rules. But since we're all new to this, I thought it would be best to stick with the original rules as much as possible to start with, and not get too carried away with pre-game changes. Nevertheless, I do think there is a change or two we should discuss making before we start.

The only rule that jumps out at me as needing to be changed before we start is rule 201. It stipulates that turns be taken in alphabetical order by last name. Since there are people in this game who want to preserve a certain amount of anonymity here on LiveJournal, I propose adding this sentence: "On LiveJournal, players shall alternate in alphabetical order by username."

Let me know what you think. And feel free to suggest a pre-game rule change or two if you think it's necessary. Thanks.
