Way back when, in 1997 elJefe? was the Agoran representative to InterNomic. In the early days of the year AckaNomic exploited a loophole in the InterNomic ruleset that allowed them to set their score to 100 and win. Agora was chosen to Judge the inevitable CFJ.
During elJefe?'s analysis of the problem he discovered another loophole, and I think I'll quote the Judgement here:
- I notice another possible loophole in Rule 114, as worded: it says that "changing the rules is only permitted when another rule allows it". However, another rule (113) does allow changing the rules. Thus changing the rules is permitted.
Agora then exploited that loophole to create a rule to plug this loophole. For further information see Judgement 5 of InterNomic at
