ThermodyNomic (Thermo for short) is a new Nomic, created to fill the void in CraigDaniel's life after Pure N_omic (which he had been in) died. It is designed to be as quirky as will be playable. It derives its particular flair from its Three Sacred Laws, modeled after the Laws of Thermodynamics. These impose some pretty harsh restrictions on rule creation. The game has begun, in April of 2003 - about a year after it was first proposed.

And what growth we've had! The big thing lately is the creation of hot potatoes, objects which players can posess but don't want to. They will all have negative impacts on the player who holds them at some point in time. Two that will come into existence soon will control the votes of the poor soul who owns them, for instance.
