Rich Holmes first heard of Nomic in 1982, reading Douglas Hofstadter's Scientific American column. He tried getting a game going at the time but didn't find enough interest. 18 years later he discovered Nomic on the Internet. He's been a player in Axiom, BBNomic, FantasyRulesCommittee, GardenNomicII, n_omic, Pure N_omic, Socialnomic, TheCurvatureOfTheEarthIsOverwhelmedByLocalNoiseNomic, and WikiNomic, and is running DocNomic. He sometimes goes by the alias Doctroid. He may be contacted at rsholmes@mailbox.syr.edu.
