Nomicide is a Livejournal-community for the GameOfNomic first opened with a slightly adapted ruleset on January 23rd, 2007. It has undergone two reboots from different elementary modifications of the PeterSuber ruleset after various players managed to win - and even through the third iteration had established rules to continue play after victory, it has managed to conclude a third time. As of 12 October 2009, the third reboot is under way.

The game does not have an explicit 'mailing list' - rather, it operates using the built-in Livejournal user interface. The main page serves the equivalent function for the players.
Status:
As of 12 October 2009, Nomicide possesses StartingUpStatus and OpenStatus; Game 3 began on 5 October 2008 and ran until 9 October 2009. Interested parties may join the game by 
forming a Livejournal account (if they do not at present have one), requesting membership in the community, and answering the player list 'poll'.
Current Players:
The current players are, as a matter of rule, listed at the end of each Livejournal post made for resolving votes and in the sidebar of the main page. To date, among the regular players, only Packbat (i.e. RobinZimm) possesses a page on NomicWiki. As the game is currently in a Constitutional Convention, no official list of players exists.

In addition to this general-information page, there is one ruleset page on NomicWiki: NomicideAbridgedRules - an unofficial abbreviated copy of the ruleset, including only currently-active rules (i.e. no amended or repealed rules). It sits currently in a mildly obsolete form from the end of Game Three.
