NOMIPO:
- A Literary game of rules and restraints. Inspired by the work of OULIPO
http://www.ualberta.ca/~stefan/Oulipo/en.html writers and generative writing--literature based on mathematical constrictions, linguistic conundrums, and abecederic loops--NOMIPO seems a natural extension of some of the games that the French based school did together. - Players are judged on whether they correctly stay within the rules (whether the restaints be formal or other), and language puzzles (solvable player challenges) may or may not become a part of the game's framework. Join us for a game of ever changing language paradoxes and restraints.
