Mornington Nomic was inspired by the ever-popular strategy game Mornington Crescent (popularised in the UK by the radio comedy series "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue"), and strived to create an original set of rules for the game, which was played alongside the Nomic itself, on the mailing list.
Play ground to a halt a year or two ago, but the ruleset's still there, and still works. There are occasional attempts to get it going again, or to start afresh, but it never quite seems to get anywhere.
