Imperial Galactic Nog Nomic started out as a game of Pure Nomic. We had one rule: All players must agree to all rule changes. The game started with the initial three players sitting down together eating lunch in a restaurant. The first several rules we created reflected the face-to-face nature of the game. The game would have died after that initial lunch if it wasn't for the foresight of the players to ensure the rules, such as we remembered them, were recorded and preserved by the newly appointed Record Keeper.

The game continued for about a week in this manner. A flurry of rule changes would be discussed and approved during meals, and the changes would be recorded later on by the Record Keeper. We knew we could not continue in this fashion for long, since some of our players were moving elsewhere soon. The game was evolved so that it could be played over email.

This is the state that Imperial Galactic Nog Nomic was in on 30 Jan 2002. There seems to be no sign of life on the web site or the mailing list since late February 2002.
