I first encountered face-to-face Nomic in university in about 1992. In one f2f game, a judgement held that famous individuals could be considered Players, among them Aristotle, Gauss, and Goethe: I won some points later with a judgement that I was, in fact, Goethe.
Very shortly afterwards, NomicWorld began and I joined with that nickname. After some fine times (best remembered: Lindrum World andthe birth of the FantasyRulesCommittee), I left due to graduation and didn't play much Nomic until 2001, when the slashdot effect brought some former NomicWorldites? such as Evantine and Lindrum and myself to Agora.
