The GNDT is a tool for automatically tracking player details, for any given Nomic; it was rushed into existence for DocNomic and GardenNomicII, and has been used in every round of BlogNomic since February 2003.
It was designed to get around the usual data lag in online Nomics - that if points or locations or inventories are tracked by a single player in a static web page, the whole of the game lags behind that player (and is at risk of collapsing if the player disappears). Quite a few dead Nomics might at least have lived a bit longer if the GNDT had been around for them.
The GNDT is now running with proper editable config files - if you want it to host your Nomic's data, get in touch with KevanDavis.
