That might be a nice option. It wouldn't do much for me though, since I try to make it a habit to check the misc. page whenever something changes in the game state (I take a turn, a proposal is enacted, etc.) that I'm unsure as to whether I might be able to do something with it.
But yeah, it'd be nice to have an explicit notice for things that have a time-out limit (such as purchasing squares). Right now it's not too hard to track, but later it might get difficult.
