-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MORNINGTON NOMIC Proposals for Voting on in Week Nineteen -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Proposal 128 - Dollis Hill Holding Pattern [Amendment] To Rule 1018 (A Shunting We Will Go), replace:- "A Player may not Shunt another Player onto a Blocked Station or Mornington Crescent." with "A Player may not Shunt another Player onto a Blocked Station or Mornington Crescent. A Player may not Shunt another Player from Dollis Hill." { Comments: It's going to get very messy and stupid if we end up Shunting each other throughout a Dollis Hill Loop, I fear. } -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Proposal 129 - Better Shunting [Amendment] In Rule 1018 (A Shunting We Will Go), replace:- "If a Player Moves to a Station that is already occupied, e can elect to Shunt to that Station. This is identical to a Move except that any Players currently resting in the target Station are shunted to the nearest empty Station along the line in the same direction as the Player is Moving. Distance is determined purely by number of Stations encountered. If the Station is on an Interchange and two or more Stations along seperate Lines are empty and the same distance apart, the Player performing the Shunt can choose the destination." with "If a Player Moves to a Station that is already occupied, e can elect to Shunt to that Station. Any Players who are currently located at the Target Station are Shunted to a single Station of the Shunting Player's choice, which fits the following criteria:- * There are 'n-1' Stations between it and the Target Station (where 'n' is the Shunting Player's Line Velocity), or there are less than 'n-1' Stations between it and the Target Station, and it is also a Terminus Station. * It rests on the same Line as the Target Station. * It is not the Station that the Shunting Player moved from." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Proposal 130 - Born to be Wild [Enactment] At any given point in the Game, up to three Stations may be designated as being "Wild" - these Stations are listed at the top of the Game State Document. Any Player may expend one Red Token and Move directly to a Wild Station, signifying this manoeuvre with the Action "[Wild]". A Player may not perform a Wild Move to a Wild Station if that Station is occupied by another Player, if that Station is Blocked, or if it is another Player's Home Station. The Player moves directly to the Wild Station and has eir LV set to zero - this takes precedence over any Rules which would make Moving to the Station an illegal Move. A Player may use the Action "[(Station Name) Wild]" to declare a Station of eir choice as being Wild. This Station is added to the list of Wild Stations. If there are now more than three Wild Stations, the first Wild Station is removed from the list. A Player may not perform both a "[Wild]" and a "[(Station Name) Wild]" action in the same Turn. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
