Another call for Judgment

I have heard from an unnamed source :-) that digitalscreams believes he has already voted. (digitalscreams, are you still out there?) I, for one, don't believe I saw him vote. Thus it seems we have a disagreement in the interpretation of the rules.

Referring once again to rule 212, this is a case where Judgment is warranted.

Judge? Has digitalscreams voted or hasn't he?

well, by being the creator of the rule, and up for the points it may provide, i assume a vote may have been entered, but i've seen no other formal declaration of vote on DS's part.

so if you nede to have your vote on the vote page, then no, no vote has been entered- if we allow a player's vote to be their introduction of the new rule or amendement, then yes, they have voted ( and, i suppose, maybe this incident will become a rule in and of itself, shoud one get bored enough to do so.)

Um. When the unnamed source relayed this information to you, did it indicate which way he had voted?

I don't recall. The information as relayed to me was clear only in that he believes he has already voted--not which way he thinks he has voted.

If it had not been three months since this initative began, I would say that since we cannot determine which way the vote has gone, he should vote again.
However, in the interest of expediency, I say he is right and assume that he has voted in favour of his own amendment. Which seems a reasonable assumption in this case.
So let it be written so let it be done.
