Ummm. New #301? #302?
I can't tell without seeing the new list whether 301 became a part of the 200's or not, but here's whatever comes after.

In the interest of whimsy, I propose the following:
In honour of my own LJ format, all initial proposals to changing the rules should contain an attributed musical, theatrical or cinematic quote.
This rule shall pertain only to the initial submission, and not to subsequent discussion or voting.

"I got a bad feeling about this."

The numbers for proposed rule changes go up by one regardless of the outcome of previous proposals, so yours is number 302. (See 108.)

No books or television...?

Also, if your intent is to require including a quote, I think you should use the word "must" instead of "should."

I don't like it and therefore must vote against it.

Wait a minute. Are we voting already? I haven't heard as such from Mr. Cyrano yet. (From rule 111: "The proponent decides the final form in which the proposal is to be voted on and, unless the Judge has been asked to do so, also decides the time to end debate and vote.")

Does it say anywhere in there that unco-operative voters can't be beaten into submission?

I think federal law still takes precedence over the rules. :-)
