In light of a discussion with Ps, I declare this dead, and instead propose
Xyzzy II [Jota]:
Once per turn, the active player (only) may invoke the magic word
"xyzzy" to set their location to the Lounge, by posting intent to do
so. "xyzzy" may not be used if the player has taken any action to
change their location in the same turn. For the remainder of that turn,
and for the full duration of the player's following turn, the player will
be in a state of "chatting their life away". A player in that state
may take no voluntary turn-dependent actions other than ending their turn.
(Turn-dependent actions being those which can only be performed by the
active player on their turn.) Whether or not one is in this "chatting"
state is a part of the game state.
