I retract this proposal and will re-submit ------------------------------ Subject: Acka: Mannna Changes From: Joseph DeVincentis Date: Sun, 14 Feb 1999 12:38:34 -0500 (EST) #mannna -23 /dev/joe #mannna -20 else...if #mannna -5 Blest Lax Monk Pal #mannna -20 IdiotBoy #mannna -24 rice #mannna -20 Slakko #mannna -32 K 2 #mannna -20 JT #end The bot code has now been updated to account for the changes in the rules due to P4062. To wit: For odd votes of absolute value between 60 and 100, the resulting mannna change is now calculated by taking 50 minus half the absolute value of the vote and rounding this total down, rather than up (which the rules did by default before). Votes of exactly 60 have the intended result of gaining their caster 20 mannna. Some changes in the Mannna totals tracked by the bot result from this. Also, by R2-1-1 no mannna changes occur as a result of P4062. (I think this is a problem we need to fix, analogous to how section 5 of R1-4 has been fixed.) So as a result, these reported mannna changes did not actually occur: Proposal 4062 /dev/joe 61 +20 ==> 140 else...if 61 +20 ==> 140 Blest Lax Monk Pal 90 +5 ==> 125 IdiotBoy 59 +20 ==> 120 rice 61 +20 ==> 120 Slakko 59 +20 ==> 140 K 2 61 +20 ==> 160 JT -59 +20 ==> 193 And one less mannna than reported was awarded for each of these votes: Proposal 4063 /dev/joe 61 +20 ==> 160 rice -61 +20 ==> 140 Proposal 4064 /dev/joe 61 +20 ==> 180 rice 61 +20 ==> 160 Proposal 4065 K 2 75 +13 ==> 93 Proposal 4066 rice 61 +20 ==> 200 K 2 85 +8 ==> 101 Proposal 4067 rice 61 +20 ==> 220 /dev/joe -61 +20 ==> 199 This also means, as K2 reported, that his vote on P4067 put him into mannna debt and causes him to lose an additional 10 mannna. To summarize, relative to the reported results: /dev/joe -23 ==> 176 else...if -20 ==> 80 Blest Lax Monk Pal -5 ==> 140 IdiotBoy -20 ==> 160 rice -24 ==> 196 Slakko -20 ==> 220 K 2 -32 ==> -31 JT -20 ==> 223 /dev/joe Tabulator ------------------------------ From: JT Subject: Re: Acka: Proposal 4075 Date: Sun, 14 Feb 1999 13:33:47 -0500 (EST) On Sun, 14 Feb 1999, K 2 wrote: >Ooops that was supposed to 10 not 4 :-) > >It used to be the case that a win could be bought for 5000, I had intended to >use this as the conversion rate. It used to be the case that *1* win ever could be bought for A$5000. Now multiple wins could be. I think a rate higher than 10 (given the repeatability) is in order. --JT -- [-------------------------------------------------------------------------] [ Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty. ] [ It's hard to seize the day when you must first grapple with the morning ] [-------------------------------------------------------------------------] ------------------------------ End of ackanomic Digest V4 #43 ******************************
