So, someone fix the rules so that negative points work when they should. :) I know making a conversion an operation will fix the current non-problem, as well as make sure that one can only convert one's own points, A$, etc :) I do request that if anyone does fix this, they notice that I move the definition of points around (to be with the rest of the entities :) and condition their proposal so that it works correctly whether mine passes or fails :) --JT -- [-------------------------------------------------------------------------] [ Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty. ] [ It's hard to seize the day when you must first grapple with the morning ] [-------------------------------------------------------------------------] ------------------------------ From: Duncan Richer Subject: Re: Acka: Nomination for the Order of the Steel Flea (Alfvaen) Date: Sat, 13 Feb 1999 10:00:23 -0500 (EST) On Sat, 6 Feb 1999, JT wrote: > Slakko has nominated Alfvaen for the Order of the Steel Flea. > > For his many years of service, and wise actions on behalf of Acka, I grant > Alfvaen the title of Medallist of the Order of the Steel Flea. I call a Scam Hunt against Wild Card for his continued attempt to exploit this very bogus loophole. I smelled red and blue, harf and yellow. I tasted circles and squares, triangles and lozenges. I felt myself a chartreuse heptagon surrounded by millions and millions of pieces, none either heptagons or chartruese. As I moved through the viscous fluid surrounding myself and these other shapes, they hammered at me, attempting to beat me, to mold me, to paint me until I was just like them. Difference was not to be tolerated. As the final blow landed, and the last bit of paint was applied, I blinked my eyes and once more saw the vault of the book in the library around me. Standing on shaky legs, I started to leave when I tripped over an APP lying there on the floor. Stooping to pick it up, I once again smelled red and harf and blue and yellow and tasted triangles, lozenges, squares and circles for a brief poignant instant. I then return to my home. --JT -- [-------------------------------------------------------------------------] [ Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty. ] [ It's hard to seize the day when you must first grapple with the morning ] [-------------------------------------------------------------------------] ------------------------------ From: dice-admin@pbm.com (Dice server) Subject: Acka: Random Ackanomic Puzzle Piece Date: Sat, 13 Feb 1999 13:59:16 -0500 (EST) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Dice rolls requested by: JT Rolls also sent to: ackanomic@ackanomic.org # Player: JT # This player has aquired a random Ackanomic Puzzle Piece according to # the table below # 1 - Red Circle # 2 - Red Square # 3 - Red Triangle # 4 - Red Lozenge # 5 - Blue Circle # 6 - Blue Square # 7 - Blue Triangle # 8 - Blue Lozenge # 9 - Harf Circle # 10 - Harf Square # 11 - Harf Triangle # 12 - Harf Lozenge # 13 - Yellow Circle # 14 - Yellow Square # 15 - Yellow Triangle # 16 - Yellow Lozenge No. of sides on every die: 16 No. of dice for every roll: 1 No. of dice rolls requested: 1 No. of rolls per line: 1 2 Information on the dice server: DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE!
