I use abbreviations for player's so that when making entries in the log I don't need to remember who to spell Blest Lax Monk Pal nor do I need to remember who MTM is today (MTM formerly TGW)... Only one occurance of 'On Solstice day' existed, so the rule is slightly garbled and players can make duplicate predictions (see the last sentance of that paragraph). Same is true of later references to Solstice Day within the rule. > {{Any points gained by Wild Card because he submitted this proposal are > transfered to K 2}} Oh scorekeeper. > {{The Authorship of this porposal, any rule it creates and any amendment > it creates is changed to K 2.}} This doesn't have sufficient authority to change the authorship of the proposal since rule 2 governs the one time effects such as this, and the last part of rule 2 states (taking effect over the earlier part of the rule) that "Once a proposal has been properly distributed, none of its text may be altered; likewise, its authorship and time of distribution cannot be changed." Therefore, this proposal still counts as being authored by Wild Card, although the amendments to the rules have been changed to having been done by K 2. --JT [-------------------------------------------------------------------------] [ Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty. ] [ It's hard to seize the day when you must first grapple with the morning ] [-------------------------------------------------------------------------] ------------------------------ From: K 2 Subject: Re: Acka: Proposal 4043 accepted Date: Thu, 04 Feb 1999 23:47:24 -0500 (EST) JT wrote: > Replying to Ackanomic since I have to do some random determinations. > > > Proposal 4043 > > > > {{Transfer a randomly determined number of points between 0 and 10 from > > K 2 to a randomly determined player.}} > > 7 points are transfered to K 2 from K 2. > (I'm amused, what about the rest of you) Rule 6-4-6 (Scorekeeper): (d) To perform any random determinations involved in a process solely involving Points. > > Insert 'and at the equinox' after 'On Solstice day' in the first > > sentence of Rule 1006-1 (Prophets and Prophecies). > > 1006-1 read as typo for 15-2-1.
