I do not believe this works (quoting from rule 13-1)

   If Vulcan's name is ever legally changed, all unquoted instances of
   the word "Vulcan" in this rule not followed by the word "Headquarters"
   shall still refer to the organization that was named "Vulcan" on August
   28, 1997, and no other entity but that one may be named "Vulcan". This
   takes precedence over all other rules that allow anything to get a name
   in any manner.

I believe that sentence is sufficient to retain entityhood and
organizationhood for Vulcan.   Regardless, it forbids you from taking that
name.

Calvin N Hobbes failed to post Phoebe's Wisdom.

Phoebe, having been ignored by the last 3 people to find her matchbox, has
decided to take a Leave of Absence.

All she said to me as she informed me of this decision was "I think I'll
go somewhere where I won't be ignored for awhile.  See 'ya."   With that
she packed up her Ancientium Spaceship and headed out to the Wilds after
filing a flight plan for the moon Kansas.  I suspect that should some
adventuresome soul journey to Kansas to speak with her, she might be
persuaded to return.

I recommend that other Swingers who wish to retain their positions do
that. Assuming that Parties were indeed destroyed. My "Save the Swinger"
Proposal only transforms Party Swingerships, and clumsily, did not include
a povision to transform Provisional Swingership to Free Swingerhsips.

Fair enuff.
I tried last week, and it didn't work.
I pay 15 times the SHF to convert my Provisional Swingership to a Free
Swingership.
