I can't find any instance of Jenny moving to the wilds, so e is still on
the moon, thus the following location related actions would not have
occoured:
21 Jul 1998 01:14:15 *that* Roome : Vile prophecies
26 Jul 1998 14:53:56 ASS The Name Game
27 Jul 1998 16:17:01 ASS It's Only Rock 'n Roll (But I Like It)
27 Jul 1998 16:17:01 Town Hall Steps
29 Jul 1998 03:45:11 JT's Book

The transfer of the SBoC on 12 Jul 1998 20:53:26 and the
Benefyt/Swingpoint transfer on 03 Jul 1998 22:10:46 are covered by the
retro thingy.

I can't find an error in my harfing of the GAD game, so it would appear
that Vynd does indeed have one donkey. Below is a transcript detailing
the rise and fall of Vynd. The figures in brackets are the number of
donkeys at the end of the round. If I have time this weekend I'll put up
a web page similar to the ones Slakko has for previous games.

Green: 1: Vynd->/dev/joe (2)
Blue: 2: Vynd->TGW (3)
Yellow: 3: Vynd->Admire (3)
Indigo: 4: Vynd->Cover (3)
Orange: 5: Vynd->IdiotBoy<-JM Bear (3)
Violet: 6: Vynd->Koxvolio (4)
Alabaster: 7: Rex Mundi->Vynd->Admire (2)

One donkey was scared into the wilds and one was grabbed by Fortunato.

Amber: 8: Vynd->Covered (2)
Aquamarine: 9: Vynd->else...if->Cover (2)
Azure: 10: Vynd->JT->Cover (2)
Black: 11: Vynd->Admire (2)
Brown: 12: else...if->Vynd<->Alfvaen (3)
Burgundy: 13: Vynd->Fortunato<-JM (3)
Carnelian: 14: Vynd->Cover (3)
Cerulean: 15: Vynd->else...if<-JT (3)
Chartreuse: 16: Vynd->Fortunato->Cover (3)
Crimson: 17: Vynd->JT (4)
Cyan: 18: else...if->Vynd->Fortunato->Cover (2)

One donkey was scared into the wilds and one was grabbed by else...if.

Emerald: 19: Vynd<->else...if (1)

One donkey was scared into the wilds and one was grabbed by else...if,
but Vynd grabbed one of else...if's donkeys.

Fuchsia: 20: Vynd->Fortunato->Cover (1)
Gold: 21: Vynd->? (?)

Scoring summary:
Successful Grab: +1 Donkey
Receiving End of a Successful Grab: -2 Donkeys (iff >2)

There is a typo here of 'Greater' for 'Lesser'.

Same here.

Same here.

I would recommend for Publius to retract this proposal and resubmit it
with the errors corrected.
Also as someone else pointed out on the Ackanomic IRC channel while I was
typing this, it should probably be a duty of the Tabulator, not the
Promoter to make this determination (for now they are the same player,
but)

I hereby retract proposal 349.

I note that newbies are apparently not penalized for this action; I
nevertheless thank the kind players who brought errors to my attention,
and regret having inconvenienced the group through my own failure to
proofread.

Eir Ackanomic...what? I think it should say "eir Ackanomic name twice",
myself, since I think "twice" should be in there somewhere.

This is good, though.

In this Proposal, as well as 3349, those things up there that look to some
people like quotes look to others of us not like quotes. Many programs
have some kind of "fancy quotes" option which uses, instead of simple quotes
like the ones on the line above this one which are the same at the beginning
and end of quoted text, different quote characters for the left and right
ends of quoted text, which characters are not standard ASCII and thus won't
show up properly on many terminals.

I think their status as delimiters is not in question, as long as we don't
let them get into any Rules...:-) But that flag is generally best turned
off in any program that sends text to the Net.

	You need to post this to ackanomic@muppetlabs.com to work.
Acka-research is not a required list, so actions don't occur on it.

Which proposal? I believe this could be seen as an unambiguous
misspelling of 3349 however.

That is correct, you don't lose any points for it.

Interesting proposal. I see a few problems however.

I think you mean Lesser Poobah, not Greater Poobah, in the above.

This would actually prevent the Poobahs from collecting any salary, for
anything.

As has lately been my custom, I didn't bother reading this proposal until
I actually went to vote on it. Now that I have, it begs the question: Why
give me 6 points?
