I think that Eleusis would work reasonably well over IRC. I don't think it can be shortened much and still retain the characteristics that make it 'Eleusis' over email. Perhaps it should be limited to 4 players to reduce the size of the round? I also note that this did not actually occur as it was sent to the wrong (old) mailing list which is no longer valid as a public forum. However, there is no 'time limit' on deus. Anyone wish to propose one? If and when Fortunato validly manages to leave this game, he will be replaced by a bot in the game, and I believe that will cause the round to end with no score for all concerned. Note to next Deus (Robin Hood I believe) that bots auto-play random cards. Note to everyone else, anyone who wishes to join in the game can fill in at any spot currently occupied by a bot, inheriting their score. --JT ------------------------------ From: AARON KEESLER Subject: RE: Acka: Eleusis G2R1 OVER (Fortunato) Date: Thu, 03 Dec 1998 12:34:27 -0500 (EST) Ah. Well in that case, I leave this game of Eleusis. >-----Original Message----- >From: JT [SMTP:jtraub@dragoncat.net] >Sent: Thursday, December 03, 1998 11:07 AM >To: acka-games@ackanomic.org >Subject: RE: Acka: Eleusis G2R1 OVER (Fortunato) > >On Thu, 3 Dec 1998, AARON KEESLER wrote: >>Ack.
