After a bit of prodding (thank you K 2) here are the results to the latest
round of bacon game 2:

K 2 provided this Bacon Chain:

Dune: Everett McGill, Sean Young
Blade Runner: Sean Young, Edward James Oloms
Zoot Suit: Edward James Oloms, Kelly Ward

Alfvaen as far as I can see failed to provide a Bacon Chain at all. Alfvaen
may challenge K 2's chain if e wishes. The next round starts now, please name
your actrons.

MTM.

(BTW, Alfvaen, what do you think of the idea of declaring game 1 moribund?)

Ooh, one I know! :-) Well, just to keep in the musical subgenre, I name
Meat Loaf.

I'm going to challenge. (Although I really do have to see Dune again one of
these days...)

Sounds good to me. I mean, it pretty much is, isn't it?

One of my least favorite, (and overrated IMO), directors. :)

I declare game 1 of bacon (Alfvaen and Ayla) to be moribund. I think that
that means that the game ends unless the competitors object within the next
three days but I can't be bothered checking (it is 12:49 a.m. here).

K 2's Bacon chain is valid so e therefore moves up to two game points (and
leads now two to nil).

The next round challenges you to link from Sting to Meat Loaf. For the first
time this game I can actually name a film with one of these actors in. I'm
sure you two will be able to do better than that though. Also, a reminder
that I'm off on vacation tomorrow so if you could get your chains in quickly
then we may be able to get in another round before I go.

MTM, ref.

Aw, whats not to like about Dune? The movie I mean, not the book (which
is not to imply there is anything wrong with the book). My friends and I
watched the 4 hour long directors cut (not to be confused with the 5 or 6
hour long uncut version) one day after school. First time any of us had
ever seen it, and I don't think any of us had read the book. It was, to
be honest, nearly incomprehensible. But you have to love a movie with
a flying fat man, and lines like (in a tone of amazement) "My name is a
killing word" and "Dune... Arrakis... the desert planet..." Our
universal favorite, however, was an exchange between the evil Baron
Harkonen and his Mentat advisor, it went something like this:

Mentat: "Thus by following my plan..."

Baron (who incidentaly is very fat, very ugly, and as previously
mentioned, is always flying around in some sort of inflatable hover
thingie, this isnever exaplined): "*MY* plan!"

Mentat (disgustedly): "*The* plan... we have captured etc."

My friends and I still throw that one at each other sometimes. :)

                          - Vynd, loves talking about Dune
