A very fast round of Abstract Crescent this time.

Now for the moves, in some particular order :-)

8: The Gingham Wearer
10: rufus
13: else...if
42: Hubert
57: Alfvaen
8675309: /dev/joe

So The Gingham Wearer wins this round, and scores 10 points.

Scores:
21: Alfvaen
11: /dev/joe
11: Hubert
10: The Gingham Wearer
 7: else...if
Game is currently 30 points.

Congruences for Round 8:

0: /dev/joe
1: Hubert
2: else...if
3: TGW
4: Alfvaen
5: rufus

A reminder to players - some people have been trying to submit 0 as their
number. All submitted numbers must be positive integers, so player 0 must
submit a number at least equal to the number of players.

Also, anyone else who wants in on Abstract Crescent is welcome. Email me
by replying privately to this message, and I'll put you on the list at the
start of the next round (assuming the game is not won this round).

Yours,
Slakko

Slakko linked with sailing and /dev/joe with move. Both are accepted in a
stunning lash of irrelevancy. Hubert has 15 points and so wins the first ever
game of word un-association. Anyone want another game? If so then say so and
I'll referee another. Unless someone else wants to referee it of course.

I, in the grand tradition of the winner-of-the-previous-game-referees-the-
next-one, would be more than willing to referee, but I would like there to
be more players than in the previous game. Who out there'd be interested?

Put me in.

Cash withdrawals attract interest from the day they are taken, regardless
of any interest-free days on purchases. So this doesn't work.

Four of Diamonds.

Have at it, Alfie!

This is a neat game. I shall play.

When is the new fictionary game starting?

If at least two more players will join, I'll start it up. TGW, /dev/joe,
would either of you be interested in a rematch of sorts?

Alfvaen, this seems right up your alley, what with your "delimiter
unassociation" Treasure still unfound.

Any players who wish to are welcome and encouraged to join.

Not sure; wasn't Vynd planning on refereeing?

Actually, I confess that I find word un-association a bit too low-level for
me. Sorry.

Actually, one can't referee Fictionary, since Brainiacness rotates. But
someone does have to announce the start of the game...

I will play, and thereby shall triumph... maybe.

I think it all depends on the lenience of the Referee. I would like there
to be some provision for the Ref to award extra points for increasingly
esoteric yet still viable links, but I also think that would be somewhat
open to abuse. In the meantime, FairPlay awards will do.

Well, we'll miss you. *sob*

Hmmm, I didn't expect to take that one.

The Gingham Wearer's play of "irrigate" is accepted, and burned.
It is still his turn.

Because he worked Lunatic Finger back into the story, something
some of the players wished could have been a loose end but wasn't
because it wasn't on a card, I am awarding The Gingham Wearer a
Fair Play award.

YORL Status:

Loose Ends: 4 - cowboy, snowgod, thin man, 2600
Cards Burned: 28
Cards in Deck: 15

Play Order:
The Gingham Wearer [3 cards] [2 Ale]
TAFKA Slagothor [7 cards]
Slakko [7 cards]
rufus [7 cards]
- --Open Bench-- [-]
Karma [9 cards]
Alfvaen [3 cards] [1 Ale]
two-star [8 cards]
