What did Slagothor do? It doesn't appear to have been listed.

Lunicurrent is the ing word and these are the definitions, in random
order. Bluffers, you have three days.

1. Of animals, to be most active during periods of full moon.

2. continuation of something (as repetition of a word) usually to an
exceptional degree or beyond a desired point

3. Having relation to changes in currents that depend on the moon's
phases.

4. Seasonal high tide.

5. Occurring with the same period as the phases of the moon.

6. Of or related to the lunicur.

7. An unusually low tide.

It was brought to my attention by several keen-eyed Grabbers that I left
Slagothor off the list. Well, it wasn't a mistake, it was a test, and
everybody passed! Give yourselves a pat on the back.

I sent a message to acka-games last night about this, but it seems to have
fallen off the face of the net. Slakko was confused about why he was
getting cards when he hadn't seen the result of the play yet.

Slagothor's play of 2600 is accepted and becomes a loose end.

(No shortage of characters in this story... maybe I made too many
character cards?)

Slakko's interrupt of mutant is rejected. Sorry, the descriptions
of the characters in that segment, although weird, didn't feel very
mutated to me.

It is still Slagothor's turn.

Loose Ends: 4 - cowboy, snowgod, thin man, 2600
Cards Burned: 13
Cards in Deck: 21

Play Order:
Slagothor [6 cards]
Slakko [8 cards]
Balsamic Dragon [7 cards]
Malenkai [6 cards]
Karma [8 cards]
Alfvaen [4 cards]
two-star [7 cards]
The Gingham Wearer [6 cards] [1 Ale]

Though I'm afraid it's too obvious a definition, I am voting for Number 5.

Two tricks for each side now; still Slakko's lead. So far all the plays
have been on the up-and-up; everybody has followed suit and nobody has
tried to play a card they didn't have or play the same card twice, despite
Slagothor's attempts to change this into a game of Hearts. :-)

A tug on his arm broke the spell and made Sam look to his left.

"Romeo," said Elspeth, "guard this with your life, for it will be your
protection where you are about to go." She stared searchingly into his
eyes as she pressed a small object into his hand, and then turned and
left. Not walked off, disappeared into thin air. Sam's completely
overloaded brain struggled to catch up. When, he wondered, had he lost
control of this situation?

As if to underscore the point, the Thin Man walked up to him and said,
"Are you ready to go, Romeo?"

Sam stared at him blankly. Without waiting for an answer, the Thin Man
began to hum a tuneless song and wave his hands in the air as if weaving
on a loom. Kirby 2600 stopped his impromptu tango with the vacuum cleaner,
looked at the two, and shuffled over to stand beside them. The Thin Man
glared at him but did not halt his song.

Sam glanced distractedly at the object Elspeth had given him. It was a
ring, a finely wrought silver ring with a glittering ice-blue crystal set
in it. There seemed to be something moving in the depths of the crystal.

Suddenly it was all too much. Sam hollered at the top of his lungs,
"Wait! Stop! Will _some_one please tell me what the hell is going on
here?!?"

The words were hardly out of his mouth when the bar, the crowd, and the
forest all disappeared and were replaced by a howling blizzard on
an icy mountaintop.
