Secondly, I'll fill in the magic letter, "Y", as named by else...if:

Thirdly:

Today is Tuesday the sixth day of January and the Machine that goes *ping*
has gone *ping* today. Since I have been scholar, the Machine has gone
*ping* 9 times.

Did the last game ever actually end? If not, I am quiting it. :)

two-star had a cell at K22, and breadbox at K19. So J20 and J21
had three neighbours each, but two different viruses, so new
uninfected cells were created there.

Oh, did we get that fixed so it has a referee? In that case I'll play.

I'll accept this (barely) :-), The game is over. /dev/joe has
won, and wins the kitty. He has also found T101, but that doesn't
happen until I make the announcement on the main list, as far as I
remember the postal code.

Vynd's interrupt then is accepted, but the game was over. I will
propose a fix to this.

Anyone else feel like harfing another round?

T101? Oh my.

For the record: an announcement on acka-games would be legal, as far
as the Postal Code is concerned. (An announcement on acka-finance
would be legal, for that matter - anywhere except acka-research.)

Aagh, NO! No more! I've read enough books like this in my free time, now
I know how they're written.

Seriously though, that was kind of fun. I want to know who wrote the card
"three-headed?" "infinite" was a pain too. I also want to know if anyone
recieved my two favorites out of the cards I wrote, "Ackanomic" and
"/dev/joe." All in all, I thought that was a pretty good game, even if
the story got a little strange at times (I know, I was no help there).
There was drama at the begining, when I almost managed to use up my cards,
and struggle towards the end to wrest control away from Alfvaen and from
/dev/joe (struggle to figure out how to interrupt any of these plays with
cards like "statue" and "machine gun," that is). My apologies to Alfvaen
for making fun of his traditional fantasy plot line, but I had a lot of
cards I couldn't see some sort of Grey Mouser wannabe using. I still
think my planned ending, where Stutim is indeed crowned King but then
killed and eaten by the Three-headed thing (also featuring machine guns),
would have been more satisfying. I must say his introduction of the
"dream travel" business was a stroke of genius (if a bit of a cop out :).
