It was a ring with a big diamond.

This is the old grid.

I doubt this works when you are on vacation. (See rule 255 - "the only thing
a player on vacation may legally do is take himself off vacation")

Calvin N Hobbes asked me privately about becoming the referee for Viruses,
and I suggested that he write or get from somebody else a program to handle
the calculations. No offense intended toward either prospective referee,
but it is easy to make an error doing this manually, and CarsesraC showed
this. I believe Guy Fawkes and Alfvaen had some sort of Viruses programs.
I have one written in python; you'll have to install the python interpreter
to make use of it. (see http://www.python.org)

I believe the grid CarsesraC posted is the current one.

Mine is in Perl, which may be more easily accessible than Python. The
biggest problem with it is that you have to apply the changes by hand,
and then edit the grid to remove the row/column labels and and spaces,
and then put them back in by hand. I should do something about that,
but I'm lazy, and it works fine for me(I use it to guesstimate which of
the moves I'm considering will work the best).

If Calvin N Hobbes wants the job he can have it, but don't agree with
/dev/joe that you personally have to have a program. I agree that its
almost impossible to do it manually.

I really want to have a copy of all the three program's and pointers
to get them running.

I forgot that I have to put myself off vacation.
Oke, Im putting myself off vacation.
Im changing my status from voting to non-voting.
Reason I have not the time to read all the ackanomic mail.
I read only the mail send to acka-games and what is send to me
privatly.

Im offering to be the referee of viruses unless some wants to take
over the job.
There is a small change to the rules. The three day within the next
moves has to send in for the next round start when the referee post
the moves present round.
Its is the job of the players to calculate the new grid.

I will make a promise to get on the programs that have been written
get working to at I can work with it. But I as long I don't have to
possibility of a program I have just the help of player.

I believe that this is the most correct Virus grid.
